Black Stars Is A Major Selling Point For Ghana – Ayariga

Minister for youth and sports,Mahama Ayariga has said the Black Stars is a very important selling point of Ghana.

According to the Minister,the Senior National team, Black Stars gives the country the mileage in terms of international branding and marleting when they represent at international competitions and do well.

“Black Stars are a very important selling point for the country. They provide the country with international branding. Countries pay to get the world to know they exist but the Black Stars does this for the country. Every international television station will telecast the matches live and every football enthusiast will watch and that will make the country known. This saves the country from paying much money to promote i herself.”

He underscored the need of the citizenry to focus on the games rather than focusing on issues of player bonuses because their representation sells the country to the outside world.

He acknowledged that the budget of the Black Stars should reflect the current economic circumstances but made an appeal to all not to destruct the players by discussing issues of their bonuses but rather rally behind them.

The Black Stars are currently camping in Spain and will move to Equatorial Guinea five days before the AFCON start
