AFIA Schwarzenegger replies Ayitey Powers and Bukom Banku…says there’s more to come


As was expected since the release of a video which sees boxers, Ayitey Powers and Bukom Banku insulting her, AFIA Schwarzenegger has sent a subtle reply on the duo on Facebook, hinting that she will address the matter further on he TV show, ‘Kokooko’ .
She wrote:”Azumah Nelson was the first boxer to bring limousine to Ghana(location:Azumah villa Achimota)……The power of determination.  bokom banku and Ayitey powers (the only man living with horns) are the first boxers who out of fear n hunger insult a woman via video. (location:public toilet in chorkor)……. The power ofcowardness and poverty. This will definitely not miss Kokooko 7:40pm on Utv…Wednesdays n Fridays.”

Nigeria’s “Bring Back Our Girls” Movement Marks One Month Anniversary Of Schoolgirl Kidnapping

A nighttime vigil in Abuja late Wednesday marked the 30th day in captivity of the 276 girls held by Boko Haram, the Islamist militant group that kidnapped them from their dormitory in Chibok, a village in northeastern Nigeria.   More than 250 people, many of whom have been attending daily rallies for two weeks, came out for the vigil in Abuja.   Other Nigerian cities have also held rallies, and they have been replicated in cities like Los Angeles, New York, Kingston, Jamaica, and even in Afghanistan, leader Oby Ezekwesili told the crowd.    “The global advocacy for the girls of Chibok started from local advocacy for the girls of Chibok,” Ezekwesili said. “The advocacy started online, and moved offline.”  She told the crowd that the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls , which organizers have used to unite the movement and catalyze international attention, has been tweeted or retweeted more than 3 million times.     Hadiza Us...
