Young Nigeria’s multi-award-winning musician and businessman, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has said he is good enough be Nigeria’s President. The 22-year-old said this in a 45 second speech for MTV Base’s Choose or Lose Vox Pop programme. He also used the medium to do what some consider as arbitrary campaigning. Davido said: “Yes I’m voting, I want my voice to be heard, there’s no point in complaining if you are not going to vote. I think I’m good enough to be president, because it’s me, I want to be the president. I’ll fix all the bad roads, I’ll fix up the currency of course, and different other things, as much as I can do in a day I’ll do.”

Young Thug Hosts IVY with Birdman, TI Young Thug hosted Varsity Lifestyle Group’s Friday Night Party at IVY Nightclub on Miami Beach. Boko Haram carried out one of its deadliest attacks yet earlier this month, on the Nigerian town of Baga. It is difficult to verify the number of people killed but one woman who survived the attacks has told the BBC Hausa service about life in the town. She managed to escape from Baga and has asked to remain unnamed. "Boko Haram fighters are currently in control of the town. When they attacked, they destroyed shops and burnt down our houses. There are lots of bodies scattered on the street and some have started decomposing. The militants gathered the old men who could not leave the town and some strong women and forced them to bury the corpses because of the stench - I saw all of this. After years of innovations, experiments and exhibitions, the Great Kosa Automobile Company Limited is set to begin commercial production of vehicles in Ghana. The company, which is owned by renowned Ghanaian industrialist, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, the founder of Kristo Asafo Mission, has successfully put its new automobile assembling plant to test. Seven sleek Kantanka-branded vehicles – three 4X4 Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) and four pick-ups – produced from the assembling plant at Gomoa Mpota in the Central Region, are set to hit the roads as the company stands ready to begin commercial automobile production. According to an interior decorator of the company, Mr Kwasi Frimpong, who conducted a Daily Graphic team round the assembling plant, at the moment, the facility could produce four 4X4 SUV and four pick-up vehicles daily. Gramps who is also the son of legendary reggae singer, Denroy Morgan, would be playing at the Django Bar in Accra on Friday, 16th January, 2015. Gramps was met at the airport by his Ghanaian Road Manager, King Lagazee. According to King Lagazee, the visit is supposed to be a "Homecoming" for the burly Reggae icon. He's currently lodging in a hotel in accra and would soon jump on interviews around town. For the first time, Ghanaians will see him display his unimaginable musical talent on the night of the event. The Human Rights  court hearing  the applaication for bail for ace broadcaster, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah has once again been adjourned the case. The  Justice   Kofi  Essel-Mensah court adjourned the case to Thursday January 15 According to   Starr FM reporter,  Wilberforce Asare,  Lawyers for  the fashion icon requested and were granted a private moment with the judge in the course of  the trial . Asare added that:” The lawyers came from the chambers all smiling and beaming with confidence”. KKD is standing trial for allegedly raping a 19-year-old girl, a charge he has denied. Ever since the year 2015 begun, I’ve always had this feeling that has hardly been there. I just feel like the year 2015 has a lot to offer. A lot more to offer than I can possibly think of. I have already started seeing a whole lot of signs of improvements towards my life. I’ve gained more confidence in myself, I must say. I don’t delay in trying to get what I want. This year has so far been objective. At least that’s the best word I can use to describe it, and I think what really helps is that I stopped procrastinating. These days every morning after a prayer, I pick up my fone and add events to my to do list.
