The Hottest Air Jordans Of All-Time

#1 Air Jordan I

You would assume the first Air Jordan would be the No. 1 pick as Nike took a chance with the North Carolina standout, giving the then rookie a five-year, $2.5 million contract. This iconic sneaker wasn't up to the standards of the NBA in 1985 and as a result, Jordan was fined $5,000 per game for wearing them!

#2 Air Jordan V Grape

Along with his original signature models, Jordan eventually released variations that would appeal to various target audiences. One of those designs included the "Grape" version of the Air Jordan V which defined 1990 and clashed a purple tongue with a an emerald Jumpman.

#3 Air Jordan V Laney

Michael Jordan may have not had many great memories in high school - despite being a top recruit - but in 2000, he paid respects to Laney High School with a custom variation of the ever popular Air Jordan V's. To be honest, the Buccaneers colours look really, really nice

#4 Air Jordan XIII

The "He Got Game" release was equipped with "Zoom Air" and they were Mike's first choice for most of the 1998 NBA Playoffs. He alternated between a white and a black version with the variety of materials giving the kicks a defined look.

#5 Air Jordan XIV

Everyone remembers Jordan's "Last Shot" and it's hard not to remember the shoes that went along with it. The XIV are the original "Last Shot" sneakers and while they aren't as stylish as others, they were inspired by MJ's Ferrari 550 Maranello. They also helped him put up 45 points in a series-clinching effort that helped him get his final NBA title.

#6 Air Jordan X

Released in 1995, the X marked its territory by being a shoe that Jordan would alter color-wise to have an effect on the court. The black/red "Chicago" version was worn in Miami and in New York as he donned No. 45 to enunciate the phrase "I'm Back".

#7 Air Jordan XI

Has a sneaker ever looked this sleek? The "Space Jam Jordans" were released for the 1995-96 season - MJ's first full year back from retirement - and during that year, Michael became the second player ever to win the MVP award for the regular season, the All-Star Game and the NBA Finals.
