D’banj To Premiere “Half Of A Yellow Sun” On Monday (Video)

D’banj recorded the official soundtrack for the adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie‘s “Half of a Yellow Sun” and it will premiere soon.

A rep for the music superstar reveals to BellaNaija Music that the song and video of Bother You will be released on Monday 20th January 2014 by 6PM.

Bother You is a love song inspired by the love story of the movie. The music video was shot in South Africa and produced by Godfather Productions and DKM Media. The music video features footage taken from the movie.

Bangalee also produced the soundtrack album alongside Yewande Sadiku. He worked with music icon Onyeka Onwenu.

Half of a Yellow Sun was directed by Biyi Bandele and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton, Genevieve Nnaji, Onyeka Onwenu, OC Ukeje, Hakeeem Kae-Kazim, Anika Noni Rose, Tina Mba, Gloria Young and Zack Orji.
