Meet the Ahanta Reggae Spiritualist-KOJO LION

Been identified as the next King of Ghana and African reage-dancehall star.He goes by the birth name kojo Lion. Born in Ghana, West-Africa in the ahantaman distric, KOJO LION,discovered his passion for music at an early age. Following his dad's footsteps, he started drumming and singing to his friends outside in his vicinity.
 He settled later in Europe where he started experimenting with music on his own. Mostly influenced by his many travels across the globe he has travel the world with different kinds of cultures ,powerful dancers like SASA ADWA.

In a chit chat with him,he told us, Musicians he liked and who inspired him were,Bob marley, black Uhuru, Israel vibration, wailing souls ,peter touch ,burning wailer mighty dimons  ,Y-roy I-roy ,Morgan heritage ,culture brown etc, and he plans to make good music like his mentors and follow their good tracks in lifestyle and music making.



Kojo Lion's style of music can be described as a mixture of afro-European and reage Dance-hall. He started playing his songs at local clubs and festivals. Kojo lion decided to take his music a step further and signed with a label releasing his debut Album."ETHIOPIAN CHILD.

However Kojo lion  felt he couldn't express himself and his music the way he wanted. Therefore, together with his friends they created their own record label called "HAF RECORDS".Which he uses that platform as a higher boost to make quality and good music for his fans. As he hopes and makes all his effort to put and rise Ghanaian reggae-dance-hall on the continental/international platform so the whole of Africa and the world can appreciate and have access to the songs/music we make out here,Kojo  says.He and his team are all set to release his debut album titled "AHANTA GYPSY"

Following this big dream Kojo Lion,has produced 3 Albums to his credits which reflects his musical struggle and Lifestyle.He has also been on many shows and graced stages in Sweden,Jamaica and in Ghana,at the cape coast busua beach, akwaadi beach  and many other shows organized by media houses nation wide,also, watch out for the ASABAKO FESTIVAL,coming up in couple of months
