Fresh  of the  Record-breaking release of her album 25 , Adele appeared on “Saturday Night Live” to perform “Hello” and “When We Were Young.” While Adele didn’t appear in any sketches, she also played a big role in the funniest sketch of the night, a spoof where “Hello” is the only thing a family can agree on over Thanksgiving dinner… And each member of the the family also managed to turn into Adele over the course of the sketch. It was also Matthew McConaughey’s first time hosting since 2003, back when he appeared with the Dixie Chicks.  Asamoah Gyan has given the Black Queens $30,000 for their gold winning feat at the All Africa Games at his grand 30th birthday celebration at his plush mansion christened ‘LA Basilica De Baby Jet’. This was to honour a promise Gyan made to queens when he met them in Brazaville as the Stars went to play a friendly game against Congo’s national football team to commission their newly constructed 60,000 capacity stadium. The Shanghai SIPG lynchpin gave the Queens $10,000 in Congo to boost their morale prior to the All Africagames when he realized the girls were ill motivated extrinsically. Sultry singer ,Tiwa Savage has opened up on her pregnancy experience,saying it was difficult.The singer who covers the latest issue of Genevieve magazine revealed she had Pre-eclampsia and had her baby boy induced because his birth was overdue by 8 days..She told the magazine.. “Well, it’s a condition some women have towards the end of their pregnancy. For me, it was a period where I had high blood pressure, my feet got terribly swollen and I could hardly walk. Plus, my baby was overdue by about 7-8 days! At the end, they decided to induce me to labour because they were worried about my condition. It was a painful ordeal but I thank God everything went well.” Credits EnterGhana

Judgment Day For Ekow Micah …Guilty Or Not Guilty

After three months of litigation, an Accra Circuit Court has set Monday, November 30 2015 to deliver its judgement on the case in which popular reggae musician Lester Ekow Micah is standing trial on allegation of procession of narcotics. The court presided over by Aboagye Tandoh decided on the 'judgement day' after hearing the evidence of one Lily Okyere, sister of the musician. Led in evidence by the defence lawyer, Andrew Kudzo Vortia, Lily said two hours before police officers led her brother to the house, a fair coloured man visited their house looking for the accused. She said when the visitor was told that Ekow was not at home, the visitor offered to wait and gave her 20 pesewas to buy water for him but when she returned with the water, the visitor was nowhere to be found. According to Lily, who was positive that the said narcotic substance was placed in their house by the 'mysterious visitor', she met the visitor in front of their gate, stressing that he sai

4Syte TV Awards 2015 fails to hit the mark

It had been a highly-anticipated and a well-patronised event since its debut in 2009, but last Saturday, the 4Syte?Music Awards hit an all-time low and is gradually losing its shine as a premier event that rewarded creativity in music video production. In fact, bad co-ordination and technical problems seem to be getting the better of the event in the last three years and last Saturday’s show at the Accra International Conference Centre was no exception. The high expectation of patrons and stakeholders in the music industry were dashed by poor organisation. Apart from patrons being subjected to late start of the programme, they had to also endure bad sound quality when the show eventually opened at a quarter to midnight -- almost four hours after the advertised start time of 8pm. Worse for patrons, it turned out to be a “no show” from the Naija brothers on the night, as the advertised a line-up of artistes involving Nigerian stars, Patoranking and Kiss David, fail

Keche gave patrons a spectacular performance during their opening act at the just ended 2015 MTN 4StyeTV MVA. The hiplife duo billed to perform at the award ceremony, received round of applause from patrons amid cheers after they performed some of their hit songs. Made up of Andrew and Joshua, the former stepped on stage with "Diabetes" one of their recent hit song but it was during "FineBoy" that the crowd inside the AICC really came alive. Keche performed back to back hit songs from "Diabetes", "FineBoy" and ended with their latest single "Case". Behind the turntable was DJ Huarache, the official disk jockey for Keche.

Hours after news broke that award-winning Dancehall act Shatta Wale and sassy actress Yvonne Nelson had a heated exchange at the Conference Center on Sunday morning. Shatta Wale in a phone interview with DJ Iyce of Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra explained what happened between the Dancehall Commando and the Yaa Asantewaa of Ghana’s movie industry.
