“It takes a lot of creativity to be constantly on the road in different countries with acts that people willingly pay to come and watch,” says Moses who was honoured at the Ghana Music Awards in 2000 and 2002 as the nation’s top international music ambassador.

“The competition is tough out there but we continue to survive and to do well because we are always evolving and determined to keep Ghana’s name high all the time.”

The new album which Afro Moses will launch at the show is titled I Want To Be Happy.

He has actually been a happy man for many years having played at countless festivals and big venues across the world. He has shared the stage with notable musicians like Miriam Makeba, Salif Keita, Ziggy and Rita Marley, The Wailers and many more.

Guest performers at the concert and album launch which kicks off at 8.00pm include Shasha Marley, Lady Talata, Adolf Tagoe, guitarist Kyekyeku, spoken word artiste Kwame Write and others.
