Shatta Wale, others don’t respect ‘pacesetters’ – Tic Tac

Hip life artiste Nana Kwaku Duah aka Tic Tac has described some ‘young’ musicians as disrespectful, Citi Showbiz has learnt.

According to Tic Tac, most of the musicians who recently gained prominence in the music scene, show gross disrespect to those who blazed the trail many years ago.

In an interview with Doctor Cann on Happy FM, he cited Shatta Wale as one of the disrespectful ‘young’ artistes in Ghana.

“An artiste like Shatta Wale goes on radio to speak against Ex Doe. Can you also imagine this same Shatta Wale said in an interview that me, Tic Tac, I’m not smart?” he said.

The ‘Philomina’ hit maker stated that during their days, one could only make hit by working very hard but social media has made the music business easy, giving opportunity for the young musicians to disregard their achievements.

“These days some artistes are popular and trendy because of social media so they don’t respect but when it comes to music data it count a lot, I’m saying this because the level of disrespect is too much,” Tic Tac added.

Tic Tac’s ‘You Do All’ with Pappy Kojo has earned him nomination in the 2017 4syte Music Video Awards in the Best Collaboration of the Year category.
