Super Model VICTORIA MICHAELS Lands Another Mega Deal With MELCOM


The MELCOM Group of Companies – Ghana’s leading super store operators have renewed their Brand Ambassador relationship with Super Model Victoria Michaels.

The Mega store named the top model as their brand ambassador in 2015 and have continued to renew the mutually beneficial relationship till now.

In a well attended signing ceremony held at the MELCOM Group Head Office, both parties where enthusiastic at the prospect of working together for the 3rd year after a very eventful and productive past two (2) years.

For the first time in eight years, the alleged sole negotiator of the sale of Ghana’s 70 percent stake in Ghana Telecom to Vodafone Holdings BV, former President John Kufuor has confirmed widely held notion that the then state-owned Telecommunication Company was indeed not sold for the $900m the government had claimed. Human Rights Vs development: What does Marta Foresti mean?

Having read Marta Foresti article in  The Independent  on 20 April 2014, I was left a little confused and here is why. In the first instance Foresti’s title for the article HUMAN RIGHTS NEED NOT COME BEFORE DEVELOPMENT is a bold statement and one that needs justifying and having read her article I didn’t feel that I understood what she meant by that statement nor that she had sufficiently justified it. In addition, I couldn’t help but wonder whether we can separate human rights from development or rather have one without the other. Foresti says that although she believes in human rights, she is less convinced that these rights should be a basis for development policies.
