Gaga, 30, interviewed the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader Sunday, June 26 during the US Conference of Mayors in Indianapolis for a discussion on the need for kindness and compassion. This angered China’s propaganda department so they issued what’s being called "an important instruction" banning any mention of the "Til It Happens To You" hitmaker from party-controlled news outlets, as well as taken down her artistic works on Chinese websites.
