As a child he  didn’t know anything different, He lived and survived like any other child whether poor or living a better standard of life,His young mind, did not concentrate on the poverty around him, all though he knew it was there. It’s hard sometimes to recognize certain things when you’re in the middle of it... Engineer Lawrence Appiah from infant age, his  life changed when he moved to Accra. Raised by Uncle and Auntie who later became his ‘Parents’.   As he got older his childhood teachings taught him that he can only reap what he sowed.Learnt to appreciate what he had, and to always remember those less fortunate. His life was good in comparison to many, with a good standard of life,he never lacked for anything, but still  remained grateful for the simplest of things.  As an Engineer and the President of Global Aid for Children, through which he has contributed immensely to the development in his community, but constructing drainage systems, investing in petty trad

Joey B Busted For Image Fraud

Image
Looks like this American rapper     London Theophilus will be suing Joey B real soon for image fraud since Joeys trend of dressing lately is a direct copy of this guys swag. Looks like Joey B is one unique personality with a unique style but it would have been complete if it was original. His recent wearing of big fedora hats, vintage shirts, chains, rings, etc are all heavily influenced by this guys style. Maybe it’s because this guy Theophilus London is not really popular that is why Joey B decided to capitalize on his image and personality and is even launching a clothing line soon, It’s amazing also how they resemble each other both in height and looks.

The DG of the National Food and drug administration agency, Dr Paul Orhii made this known today at NAFDAC’s branch in Lagos. According to him, unscrupulous members of the society have decided to cash in on the unfortunate Ebola incidence in the country by bringing in all sorts of products including expired hand sanitisers. “We wonder how some people can be so callous to make money out of the situation despite this deadly disease called ebola” ”The most troubling is the case of Mr James Nnaji of 116, Oguta road, Onitsha, who imported expired brands of hand sanitisers through NAHCO Lagos,” Orhii said. The products, according to the DG, were: Soft care natural, Soft care lemon, Soft care lavender, Soft care apple, all of which had expired in December 29, 2012, two years ago, “but yet found their way into the country.” Orhii also said the agency also recentl

August Alsina Still In The Hospital After Passing Out — Docs Say Collapse Was NOT Drug-Related

Image
August Alsina’s health condition sounds a bit more serious than originally assumed. The singer reportedly suffered multiple seizures after collapsing offstage in NYC last night…but fortunately, he is improving. Docs apparently did not find any extracurricular substances in his system that would cause him to faint, so it appears to truly be the result of overworking and fast living.     August Alsina experienced multiple seizures after collapsing during a concert 24 hours ago … and remains hospitalized tonight.     A rep for the singer tells KwekuVibes … August is in the ICU of a New York City hospital and receiving treatment for the seizures.     The rep says doctors did not find any drugs — other than marijuana — in Alsina’s system … and at this point they believe the fainting was brought on by exhaustion and dehydration. Well mary jane certainly isn’t known to make you fall out…August REALLY needs to slow down if he’s so exhausted that he’s having seizures! We wish him

A group of African immigrant advocates and their allies in legislative positions are voicing their disappointment at the omission of comprehensive immigration reform and other African immigrant priorities—during the just ended summit. At a press conference held at the National Press Club in Washington DC recently, the activists, some of whom drove from New York, New Jersey, and Delaware, read out a five point petition requesting President Obama to meet with African Immigrants and allies on African Immigrant priorities on Immigration Reform, while calling for the re-introduction of House Resolution (H.RES. 369) which recognizes September as National African Immigrant Heritage Month.
