Question of the week:He has succeeded in banging all my friends, what now ?

Image
I’m engaged to a man who has dated at least six of my friends. I’ve lived abroad since I was 16 and only returned to Nigeria last year. Apparently he’s one of hottest bachelors on the Island [in Lagos] and has been around and slépt with a lot of these women. It was after we got engaged that I started to find out about all his escapes with these ladies. Some of them even made sure to tell me about their past tryst with him… I’m worried that the man I am about to marry has slept with a lot of my friends. I don’t know how to handle it or handle the girls. Anytime we are all together, it’s always awkward or the girls act too familiar with him. It leaves me very uncomfortable. I am definitely going ahead with the wedding, but I just don’t know how to handle the situation. What should I do?

3 reasons why men run away after the act of s*x

Image
Why is it men will do anything to be with you before sex only to turn around and do anything to leave after. Here are three secrets and the antidote. 1. It’s chemical. After sex your oxytocin levels are increasing while the closeness and cuddling are lowering his testosterone. He unconsciously want to go do something productive for himself to raise his testosterone levels. 2. He feels guilty. When a man has sex with you too soon he feels guilty and wants to get away from the scene of the crime. He knows he used you and now wants to get away from you because you let him. Yes as crazy as it sounds he’s blaming you! Which leads to the third reason. 3. You give too much. Men do not fall in love when they receive they fall in love when they give. They fall in love before sex not after it. If he thinks he has earned the right to be with you by winning you over through the effort and struggle of courtship he will stay with you.

Useful Facts Men Must Know About Kissing

Image
1. Your tongue is not an explorer of Amazon forests Avoid thrusting forays into her mouth with your tongue. Not only does that make you seem demanding, women also think of the tongue as an overt phallic symbol, so flourish it too freely while kissing and she will get the right wrong idea about your intentions. By the way, tongue kissing is an absolute no-no if you are kissing her for the first time. An easy rule of thumb is only to use your tongue when you feel her tongue in your mouth. 2. Her mouth is not a barbecued leg of chicken Clamping your mouth greedily over hers will make you seem like a glutton. Instead, you might distinguish yourself from the hoi polloi if you think of her mouth as an ice-cream cone. Gentle does it. Ease yourself, go with the flow, and do what seems right in the moment. Gentle, with your eyes closed, and she will not be able to think coherently. 3. Her lips are not made of pliable rubber Yes, kisses are sometimes wet and slobbery. Howeve

Is Religion Doing More Harm Than Good in Africa?

Image
After decades of civil war, conflict and bloodshed in Africa and the recent abduction of 200 girls from a boarding school by Boko Haram a militant Islamist group in Nigeria, there is often plenty of blame and finger pointing following these unfortunate events . What is often downplayed is the primary culprit- Religion. In the grand scheme of things, religion is not the only institution responsible for loss of life and misery on the continent. One could list a litany of culprits that include tribalism, political ideology, power hungry leaders, female anopheles mosquito, and the HIV virus among others. However, unlike most of the above entities, religion subscribes to a supernatural being that can’t be questioned, tamed or voted out of office. Before the push back gets into full mode, it’s important to highlight that religion can also uplift and inspire people to do great things for the benefit of mankind. In fact if any society needs a miracle or something to b

Africa and the New European Parliament: How Much Change Can We Expect?

Image
The European Parliament met yesterday to discuss the implications of the European Union elections and begin selecting new leaders for the parliament. African countries, like the rest of the world, will be closely watching the repercussions of the latest EU “earthquake” (in the words of French President Francois Hollande) on their economies and citizens.  These election results are once again the consequence of the 2008 financial crisis, only now—six years later—the crisis’ impact has moved beyond the initial effects on the financial sector and global trade to the socio-economic and political fabric of societies across the globe. On May 25, 2014, Europe experienced an unprecedented political pivot to the far right, as European Union countries elected their leaders for the next five years. Seven countries of the EU (what I will call the EU7) voted to send far-right parties to Brussels. In France, these parties received 25 percent of the national vote; Denmark, 23 percen

Image
Mmmmm  children of  God  are  not  suppose  to be  angry and  even  more cant  steal, Gospel artiste, Diana Asamoah has a simple, straight forward message to claimants who insist she stole somebody’s song: “Go to court!” she  said,The  kumasi based singer debunks allegations making air waves that she has infringed on someone’s copyright with the song Anopa Wiem – on her latest album Pentecost Soree Nwom. According to her producer-cum-manager, Mr. Anane Frimpong ( Frimpong Music production), the inspirational  singer has committed no such infringement and, for that matter, was ready to vindicate herself “even before the laws of the country.”         In his explanation, the song in question is a one of 17 numbers form the Pentecost hymnbook which he was given the green-light to record by the Music Committee of the Church of Pentecost headed by Apostle Abraham Lincoln Ango, who is also the Tema Area Head of the church. The latest albums have 18 songs on it. Out of the number,

Water Birth: Benefits & Risks

Image
Are you considering a water birth? Delivering in water has recently become popular, and more hospitals now offer water births. However, water birth is still considered an alternative birthing method, and not every doctor is convinced that it's safe. So before deciding on a water birth, be sure you understand the risks and benefits. What's Involved in a Water Birth? Just like it sounds, a water birth is giving birth in water. You may choose to deliver in a bathtub, hot tub (with the temperature turned down), or other pool of water. You can have a water delivery at home, in a birthing center, or in a hospital. You can labor and deliver in the water or move out of the water for the actual delivery. If you deliver in the water, the midwife or nurse will gently lift up and take your baby out of the water. During a water birth at a hospital, both you and your baby will receive the same medical care as you would in a hospital bed. A special underwater Doppler device will monitor

We will miss you while you are gone Kofi Ansah

Image
Known as the enfant terrible, Ghanaian fashion designer, Kofi Ansah, propelled Ghana on to the catwalks of haute couture.          Going to a Kofi Ansah fashion show has always been an exhilarating and exhaustive experience. “Without clothes, we cannot play our parts,” he once said. A true pace-setter and innovative designer, Ansah always insisted his clothes must always tell a story. And what stories he told with his clothes and how elegantly he told them. He would say there was nothing more satisfying than making clothes that make people look and feel good about themselves. “When someone tries on something you have created and she or he turns to look in the mirror, and bursts out in smiles, you know you have hit a bull’s eye.”     He first made headlines on his graduation from the Chelsea School of Art in London and received the ultimate endorsement when he made a beaded top for Princess Anne. Born in 1951 into an artistic family, he believed he inherited hi
