VGMA: Kofi Kinaata eyes Song Writer / Song Of The Year
As nominations for this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards are yet to be released in some few days away, some of the artistes are pushing for what they think should be given them when the awards day is due.
Hiplife fast rising artiste, Kofi Kinaata has also expressed his interest in the Song Writer Song of the Year in this year's music awards with his much talked about song, 'Susuka'.
In an interview with Storm 101.9 in Sunyani on their Entertainment Extra with DJ Murphy Lee along the weekend, Kofi said he is hoping for so many categories but the one he tips most is the Song Writer Song of the Year award.
"The categories are many of which I am hoping for. I can talk of Record of the Year, Hiplife/Highlife song of the Year, Rapper of the Year, Popular song of the Year but the one I tip most is the Song Writer Song of the Year.
Kofi Kinaata has been on the necks of the organizers of the music awards Charterhouse, with his songs Susuka and The crusade with Donzy which he thinks should be able to win an award this year.
This year's music awards has been slated for May with nominations expected to be closed early this week.
