President of Global Aid for Children Make's Ghana Proud at the 2014 Internationa African Achivers Merit Awards


As a child he  didn’t know anything different, He lived and survived like any other child whether poor or living a better standard of life,His young mind, did not concentrate on the poverty around him, all though he knew it was there. It’s hard sometimes to recognize certain things when you’re in the middle of it...

Engineer Lawrence Appiah from infant age,his  life changed when he moved to Accra. Raised by Uncle and Auntie who later became his ‘Parents’.   As he got older his childhood teachings taught him that he can only reap what he sowed.Learnt to appreciate what he had, and to always remember those less fortunate. His life was good in comparison to many, with a good standard of life,he never lacked for anything, but still  remained grateful for the simplest of things. 

As an Engineer and the President of Global Aid for Children, through which he has contributed immensely to the development in his community,but constructing drainage systems,investing in petty traders  and embarking on SEND US TO SCHOOL PROJECT, where his totally taking charge of some brilliant kids,in the community


With all he has achieved  and his positive impact he has on Africa and mankind he was  nominated for International African Achievers Merit Award 2014 of which his category comprises of high ranked Political personalities in Africa and he was conferred with an Award as a YOUNG ACHIEVER,..
The event took place in Accra - Last Saturday at MJ Grand Hotel




In an exclusive interview with a TV station,he was asked what inspired him to have  an NGO to help people whiles he could just be the C.E.O of winter-break Co.ltd ??, said he 'As time progressed and I started to mature, something in me to started to ignite as I remembered some of my childhood dreams, some of the things that I would do when I got big, and almost without realizing,found a passion within me, that was crying out to help.  What could I possibly do? What difference could I make?  Out of nothing ‘Global Aid’ was born’’....

 
He said,"One person cannot save the world, but one person can help make a difference.  So Yes! I could help, I can bring awareness, and I can help to bring hope to those at their lowest who feel that life isn’t worth living.

always support it..
