Kojo Antwi's Radio Station, Breeze 90.9 FM Hits Town
Ghana’s music maestro Kojo Antwi has
charted new waters with the establishment of his radio station, Breeze
90.9 FM. The station has been test transmitting since November 24 last
year from their base in the Airport Residential Area.
According to a source close to the Maestro, the station is keen on creating a unique brand of radio programming which will reflect Kojo Antwi’s idiosyncratic role in the music industry. The source indicated that Breeze 90.9 FM will present a heady mix of exciting programmes catering for the current affairs oriented listener with a healthy dose of entertainment and sports.
Currently Breeze 90.9 FM plays a refined selection of music spanning over three decades with the aim of providing a nostalgic yet refreshing experience for its listeners and thereby delivering top of the line value to advertisers.
Already, Breeze 90.9 FM has given an indication of its determination to make a resounding impact on the radio landscape. On December 24 the station broadcast live, Kojo Antwi’s annual 24th Night explosion which was dubbed Passion Reloaded this year.
The event was sponsored by Guinness and it featured the international Camerounian performer Richard Bona and the effervescent singer Castro among others.
Breeze 90.9 FM is expected to feature a team of crack presenters and producers with some refreshingly creative and ingenious programming to highlight be a marked departure from the overtly partisan political fare listeners are served daily on air.f
